Technicolor Jam. ❤️

So Sunday School had a Technicolor Jam night for all the students. The hall was filled with color & the music was run by Uncle Lai. Earlier in the week Isis told mummy she needed to go shopping for a colorful dress for her and her sister so off we went to Farmers, there she picked out these dresses one for her & one for her little sister, Isis your so selfless, everything you get given you also want one for your sister so she doesn’t miss out, these moments of course bring a tear or two to mummy’s eyes as you should already know mummy gets emo at everything you both do, big or small. lol. So that was that.

You both thoroughly enjoyed the night, you danced away with your friends Isis & your little sis was as cute as ever in her little cast, lol.

Isla you are such a character, every time you hear a beat to the song you get so excited & start dancing so hard, it makes mummy super proud of your bold confidence. You were receiving compliments from everywhere.

After the dance, Isis, you got a bit upset as you didn’t win the dancing prize as their were many kids in the Sunday School that also danced amazing on the night, that made us go home early because I could see in your face you wanted to cry, as we went outside tears streamed down your face as I knelt down to hug you. I asked you what was wrong & you said ‘I didn’t win a prize’

Isis - I want you to know this, life isn’t always about winning or receiving prizes for doing your best, mummy saw how awesome you danced and that alone filled my heart with joy. Sometimes when you do all you can to achieve what you want, you have to have a open-heart that sometimes things won’t go our way. Hope for the best - Prepare for the worse. Mummy was so upset seeing you cry quietly like that, no parent ever wants to see their child in that position. I want to remind you that every time you do anything amazing in your life - mummy & daddy will undoubtedly be your no.1 fans, we are so proud of you honey, continue to use your talents & reach for the heavens, God sees your heart & he knows you tried your best!

Isis continue to be a good big sister, Isla is always watching what you do so always show the goodness in you & try and always be the strong one, when your hurt talk to us or your sister. You are never alone - ever!

I love you both so much.

Everything you both do amazes me so much, you help mummy to learn more about herself and what it takes to be a parent.

You are the best dancers ever. ❤️

I was so proud of you both tonight.

Love your biggest & loyal fan,

Mummy.
